Opening adventure park Harderwijk a fact
Posted on Friday, July 19, 2019On Thursday, July 18 Adventurepark Harderwijk at the Boekhorstlaan was opened under the watchful eye of more than 80 guests by alderman van Bijsteren and mayor van Schaijk. The adventure park is a unique concept that you can't find anywhere else in the Netherlands. The mayor emphasized in his speech that the activities are an asset to both tourists and residents of the region. "In an area where years ago we would not have given a euro for, there will soon be a unique concept in the Netherlands to which the Adventurepark Harderwijk contributes greatly."
Erik Kroon, owner and initiator of the adventure park, describes it as the new outdoor concept. The location is the starting point for various activities, not only here on the Boekhorstlaan, but also outside of it. Kroon continues: "You can explore the Veluwe and the inner city directly from this location with unique means of transportation. You can also choose to go climbing and zip-lining in the climbing forest. Not only the activities, but also the location is unique. It is centrally located and it is easily accessible. In combination with the restaurants, which are still being built, you have everything you need here for a fun day out."
After the mayor's beautiful words, the alderman went up to a height of 16 meters to officially mark the opening. He did this by jumping down (Free Fall). Of course safely, but with the necessary adrenaline, he managed to land on the center spot of the park and so the Adventure Park Harderwijk was officially put into use. Afterwards those present could test activities and network while enjoying a snack and a drink.
