The marketing department of SOS Events is almost bursting at the seams. The requests are pouring in, which is why we are looking for you: an organized organizer with a marketing heart. Someone who loves being in charge and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Do you get energy from planning, switching and thinking along with cool brands? Then we want to talk to you.
About SOS Events
We are a tad headstrong, fond of adventure and always looking for ways to put experience first. From city games across Europe to climbing forests on the Veluwe, at SOS Events no day is ever the same. And our marketing department? It has been the driving force behind all visibility for years and the convenient thing is that we have everything in-house. Whether it's online marketing, offline marketing, graphic design, social media, building websites or writing newsletters.... We really do everything ourselves!
Currently, the 8-member marketing team consists of marketing specialists, brand designers, web developers and an intern.
What will you do?
As Marketing Coordinator, you are the point of contact for the marketing department. You know exactly what's going on at our 10 brands, from the Veluwe Specialist to Klimbos Garderen and Klimbos Harderwijk, and of Escape Tours to the mysterious Crown Secret.
What you do on an average workday:
- You have a lot of contact with colleagues internally and external parties.
- You check marketing requests with colleagues in our other departments and determine priorities.
- You make sure the right info gets to the right marketing colleague.
- You guard schedules and deadlines like it's second nature.
- You think proactively about campaigns, collaborations and strategy.
- When necessary, take a moment to create your own newsletter or write website text.
- And most importantly, you provide calm, overview and structure within the team.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing and project coordination.

- You are independent, but also know exactly when to consult.
